USATF to take place on October 18
The 21st meeting of the U.S.-Armenia Joint Economic Taskforce (USATF) will take place on October 18, 2012 in Yerevan, Armenia. The U.S. Department of State, led by Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Eric Rubin and Coordinator of U.S. Assistance to Europe and Eurasia Dan Rosenblum, will lead the U.S. delegation along with representatives from the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Office of the U.S. Trade Representative, and the U.S. Agency for International Development.
This year also marks the 20th anniversary of U.S.-Armenia relations. The USATF is an example of the strong and lasting ties between the two countries. This year’s meeting will focus on promoting trade and investment, and opportunities for increased energy sector cooperation.
Established in 1999, the USATF meets annually to discuss ways to deepen economic ties, and provides an open forum to discuss trade and investment issues.
