11 people were killed in suicide blast in Nigeria
At least 11 people were killed and up to 30 wounded in a double suicide blast at a church in a barracks in northern Nigeria on Sunday, after the bombers breached military security to carry out the attack.
A Nigerian army spokesman said the first blast came when a bus rammed the St Andrew Military Protestant Church at the Jaji barracks in Kaduna state, exploding just five minutes after the Sunday morning service had ended.
That attack caused no casualties, a military spokesman said, but drew people to the scene - only to see them caught in the second blast ten minutes later, when explosives inside a Toyota Camry were detonated.
