S. Grigorian: Election will be held without tension
After Gagik Tsarukian’s decision, it became clear that one should not expect a fierce struggle during the election, political scientist Stepan Grigorian said at the meeting with reporters today.
In his words, the presidential election will be held without tension, but competition during elections is in our interest.
As for the first Armenian President Levon Ter-Petrosian’s decision not to run for Presidency, S. Grigorian noted: “We should not constantly place responsibility on Ter-Petrosian because he already did his job”.
