New speed devices to operate in parts of Yerevan from January 16
The installation of speed measuring devices is underway in the country.
The traffic police report that speed measuring devices, which are used to regulate traffic flow and record violations of traffic rules, are being installed in the city of Yerevan and on interstate motorways.
In particular, starting from January 16, 2013, new speed measuring devices will operate in Marshal Babajanian, Tsarav Aghbyur, Bagrevand, and Noragavit Streets of Yerevan, as well as in Artashat and Nubarashen Highways.
The speed limit in the abovementioned areas is 60 km/h.
The traffic police once again urge drivers to observe the traffic rules.
