CEC distributes positions of precinct commissions' heads and secretaries

The Central Election Commission of Armenia held today a regular sitting, during which an electronic drawing of lots took place to distribute the positions of chairmen and secretaries of the precinct election commissions for the upcoming presidential election to be held on 18 February 2013 in Armenia. The positions were distributed among the parties and a bloc of parties that have their factions in the RA National Assembly. According to the press service of CEC, the positions of the precinct commissions’ chairmen and secretaries were distributed as follows:

Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) – 884 positions
Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) – 619 positions
Armenian National Congress alliance of parties (HAK) - 155 positions
ARF-Dashnaktsutyun Party – 110 positions
Orinats Yerkir Party - 110 positions
Heritage Party – 110 positions.
