Raffi Hovannisian to conduct exotic election campaign

“Hraparak” daily writes that Raffi Hovannisian’s election campaign is going to be rather “exotic”: no one will head his campaign headquarters. Levon Baghramian, a U.S. Congress analyst, was expected to head the headquarters. However, Baghramian is not an Armenian citizen so it was considered more expedient that he coordinate the headquarters’ activities. Baghramian gave his consent and was expected to spend a month in Armenia. Raffi Hovannisian himself made that announcement, when speaking on “Armenia” Television Channel. However, the daily was informed that Bagramian will arrive in Armenia not as the headquarters’ head or coordinator, but as a volunteer and he is not quite happy with that idea. True, according to Washington sources of the daily, he is very busy as an expert in the Congress.
