Flora Martirosian’s relatives intend to file lawsuit
Relatives of Armenian folk singer Flora Martirosian, who died last year, intend to file a lawsuit to find out the cause of her death. U.S.-based Manuk Sahakian, F. Martirosian’s nephew, told this to Aysor.am. When asked whom the relatives blame for her death, he did not elaborate, noting that they are determined to file a suit, while the court will decide who is to blame for her death.
According to Sahakian, an Armenian lawyer is now collecting the documents, after which they will bring a lawsuit. The results of the forensic examination are not yet available.
Manuk Sahakian said Flora Martirosian never had any health problems, however, after the gallbladder surgery she underwent, F. Martirosian had pains and she consulted a doctor again.
“Gallbladder surgeries are done even in undeveloped countries. She was a healthy woman. She complained of pains, went to hospital. Doctors told her that she had gallstones and that a surgery was needed,” Sahakian said.
