Court postpones hearing in Bagratian case
The general jurisdiction court of Arabkir and Kanaker-Zeytun communities, Yerevan, has today postponed again a hearing in the case against presidential candidate Hrant Bagratian because of Judge Simizar Hovsepian’s illness.
The candidate’s press service told Aysor.am that they regard this lawsuit as a shame and clownery.
Bagratian’s defense lawyer Vahe Hovsepian said that the facts indicated in the lawsuit are unfounded and that they have facts that the program in question is theirs, rather than of the plaintiff Manya Hakobian.
The next court hearing will be held on February 4.
Let us remind you that Manya Hakobian filed a lawsuit to the court, claiming that her copyright on the Program of Systemic Reforms in Science of Armenia has been infringed.
“Hrant Bagratian did not add anything, even a comma, to that program. His only contribution was his name put at the beginning of the program,” Ms. Hakobian said, noting that she had warned Hrant Bagratian against passing her program off as his own.
