Aram Harutyunian’s apartments mortgaged, creditors still wait
According to information of the court system, three lawsuits have been filed by creditors against Aram Harutyunian.
The lawsuit of Gagik Hakobian against Harutyunian was accepted for examination on 29 March 2012. The plaintiff requests that 5,835,000 AMD be exacted from A. Harutyunian.
Another suit against Harutyunian was filed by Razmik Sargsyan, who requested that a dram equivalent of $5,000 and 4,000 Euro, as well as 1,200,000 AMD and interest on the indicated sum be exacted.
The third lawsuit against Harutyunian was instituted by the Armenian police, also demanding the recovery of a sum.
Aram Harutyunian told Aysor.am that in reality the situation is not the way it is presented. He also found it difficult to recall the details related to the case. “The legal proceedings are still going on. There was a misunderstanding… I would not like to reveal court secrets, but we will probably make it up,” he noted.
He said he was not aware of the police lawsuit.
In response to the remark that according to information of Aysor.am, the former presidential candidate mortgaged two apartments, which, by the way, were indicated in his property declaration submitted to Central Election Commission, Harutyunian said that the apartments were mortgaged.
We would remind you that Aram Harutyunian submitted today an application for withdrawal of his candidacy to theCEC.
