President holds consultation with law enforcement agencies’ heads

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan held a consultation with the heads of law enforcement agencies. Issues related to ensuring the presidential candidate’s personal security and their participation in the election were discussed at the consultation, the presidential press service reports.

The director of the National Security Service adjunct to Armenian government informed those present about the investigation into the criminal case which was opened in connection with the attempted murder of the presidential candidate Paruyr Hayrikian. The NSS director said some results have already been achieved in the crime detection, which will allow taking steps to reveal all the essential circumstances of the case.

The president expressed satisfaction with the work done by law enforcers concerning the case.
