CEC members test ink
Members of the Central Election Commission of Armenia today tested the ink to be used on Election Day by applying it to invalid passports, the CEC press service reports.
The ink was imported from the UK, as was the case during the 2012 parliamentary elections, but the CEC Chairman Tigran Mukuchian gave his assurances that this time it will not vanish within 24 hours.
He stressed the need to shake each bottle before use. 2,200 bottles of ink were imported for the 2013 presidential election.
“One bottle will suffice for use in a polling station. Some precinct commissions will receive two bottles, taking into account the fact that there will be portable boxes in their polling stations,” Mukuchian said.
