HAK member parties boycott political board meeting
“Hraparak” daily writes that the regular meeting of Armenian National Congress (HAK) Political Board reportedly did not take place yesterday, although there was a press release about HAK meeting, announcing that issues related to activities of HAK alliance in the context of forming HAK Party were discussed at the meeting. The daily learned yesterday that representatives of almost all parties making up HAK did not attend the meeting and there was no quorum.
Under HAK regulations, at least 8 members, i.e. representatives of at least half of the 14 parties, must participate in a meeting to secure a quorum. Yet only 3 of HAK parties spoke in favor of the idea of transforming HAK alliance into a party, naturally yesterday’s meeting was boycotted.
