Prosecutor: 88 reports about electoral violations received
By the order of Prosecutor General of Armenia, a working group for prosecutor’s supervision over the receipt, recording and examination of reports about electoral violations has been set up ahead of the election, reporters have been informed a few minutes ago by Arthur Davtian, member of the group, Prosecutor of the Shengavit community in Yerevan.
According to him, 88 reports about electoral violations were recorded before the polling day. Information about various electoral violations has been received today, with the working group trying to respond to such reports as rapidly as possible.
The reports received so far were related mainly to vote bribes and obstruction of proxies’ work, Davtian said.
The working group did not limit itself only to examining the phone calls from citizens and legal persons.
The Prosecutor’s Office will issue more detailed information in the evening.
