Meat and meat products top list of high-risk imported foods
A draft decision on the methodology of control over the risk of imported foods was submitted by Agriculture Minister Sergo Karapetian to the government for approval.
According to the minister, the decision sets the standards to determine the degree of risk of imported foods and to exercise control during their import.
The draft decision includes a list of high-risk foods. Meat and meat products top the list, followed by poultry, fish, milk, dairy products, and ice cream.
The government approved the draft decision.
