Hunger-striking convict in grave condition
Convict Tigran Serobian has been on hunger strike for four days. He is currently in Convict Hospital institution of the RA Ministry of Justice.
Gor Glechyan, the head of the press service of the Justice Ministry’s Criminal Executive Department, told Aysor.am that T. Serobian in an extremely grave condition.
T. Serobian has three previous convictions. Now he is serving a 5-year term after being charged under Article 177 Part 2 of the Criminal Code.
On the night of July 3, 2011 T. Serobian together with three other men, Vahan Martirosian, Arman Hovsepian, and Hamlet Hovsepian, stole two horses worth a total of 700,000 AMD owned by Vladimir Ohanian and Evgeny Konovalov.
On the night of July 14, 2011, Tigran Serobian along with the three abovementioned men stole two horses worth a total of 614,000 AMD from Gurgen Manukov in the city of Chambarak.
