Hovannisian files application to get back 8 million AMD electoral pledge
Former presidential candidate Raffi Hovannisian filed today an application to the Central Election Commission. He requested that the 8 million-dram electoral pledge be paid back to him, Aysor.am was informed by CEC spokeswoman Arev Harutyunian.
Under the Electoral Code of Armenia, those presidential candidates who managed to overcome 5% threshold in the election shall get back their electoral pledges within 7 days.
We would remind you that according to the final data of CEC, Raffi Hovannisian took second place in the presidential election, but he does not admit defeat and has been holding rallies in protest.
