168 Hours: Heritage against any union with HAK

A trilateral discussion with the participation of representatives of Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK), ARF-Dashnaktsutyun, and Heritage Party was held yesterday evening in the office of ARFD Supreme Body. “168 Hours” daily writes that the discussion participants were Vartan Oskanian and Naira Zohrabian from BHK, Armen Rustamian and Aghvan Vardanian from ARFD, and Rubik Hakobian and Hovsep Khurshudian from Heritage.

The issue of running as a single list in the elections to Yerevan Council of Elders was discussed, with each side voicing their approaches. No final decision was made. The participants decided to continue discussions today.

Interestingly, Armenian National Congress (HAK) did not take part in the discussion, although HAK members also supported the idea of a single list. Heritage Party, too, was against HAK’s participation. In fact, Heritage representatives object to any union, which may involve HAK.
