168 Hours: Government reshuffle expected
“168 Hours” paper expresses an opinion that ex-Mayor of Yerevan Karen Karapetian is the most likely candidate for prime minister. According to the daily’s sources, Police Chief Vladimir Gasparian will be appointed defense minister, while the current Defense Minister Seyran Ohanian will become a deputy prime minister. Justice Minister Hrayr Tovamsian will be replaced with David Harutyunian who is an ex-Minister of Justice and currently serves as the head of the National Assembly Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs. Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotian will also resign.
