Sedrakian’s lawyer finally receives ruling of Appeals Court
The Sirunian legal advice office wrote on its Facebook page that it has at last received the Appeals Court’s ruling.
“We have today finally received the March 18, 2013 ruling of the Ra Court of Criminal Appeals concerning Vardan Sedrakian’s arrest. After consulting with Sedrakian, we will file a cassation appeal”.
Let us remind you that earlier the general jurisdiction court of Yerevan’s Kentron and Nork-Marash communities granted the petition of National Security Service for the arrest of Vardan Sedrkian for two months.
Ex-presidential candidate Sedrakian has been charged with ordering the attempted murder committed against AIM Party leader Paruyr Hayrikian.
A few days ago Sedrakian’s defense lawyer, Alexander Sirunian, told Aysor.am that he was pretty sure that his client’s measure of restraint, i.e. arrest, would not be changed.
