HHK plans to convene special session of parliament
Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) plans to convene a special session of the National Assembly on Friday to discuss the post-election developments, “Haykakan Zhamanak” writes. According to the paper, it is not ruled out that the session will be held on Thursday.
The head of HHK parliamentary faction Galust Sahakian told the newspaper’s correspondent yesterday that he had called the heads of all the factions and then handed them the HHK-written draft statement to be discussed at the special session. The draft has not been published yet, but the correspondent found out that it says that HHK won the February 18 presidential election, but is ready to hear and discuss the views of other political forces. Today HHK is waiting for the proposals of other factions.
