829 ballots for Serzh Sargsyan registered at polling station 17/05
The Special Investigation Service of Armenia recounted today the ballots cast at polling station No 17/05 in Ararat province during the February 18 presidential election.
We would remind you that by a decision of the Constitutional Court, the election results in that polling station were declared null and void, with all materials being sent to the Special Investigation Service.
A recount of the votes in the abovementioned polling station showed that out of the 432 ballots registered previously as ballots cast for presidential candidate Raffi Hovannisian, only 421 were cast for the Heritage Party leader R. Hovannisian. The packet of the ballots for Hovannisian contained 5 ballots cast for President Serzh Sargsyan, one ballot for presidential candidate Andrias Ghukasian, and another five ballots were recognized as spoilt.
The packet of the ballots cast for Serzh Sargsyan contained 829 ballot papers.
