Armenian president receives Victor Khristenko
President Serzh Sargsyan received today Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) Victor Khristenko, the presidential press service reports.
At the meeting, the sides underlined the importance of mutual willingness to establish an active dialog for the promotion of mutually beneficial economic cooperation. S. Sargsyan said Armenia has always been interested in deepening the integration processes in the post-Soviet territory and supported the implementation of practical work in this direction.
Speaking about the memorandum which was signed yesterday between the Armenian government and the Eurasian Economic Commission, V. Khristenko stressed that the sides have thus created organizational conditions for partnership. He informed the Armenian president about the possible directions of cooperation between EEC and Armenia.
