Sargsyan and Tsarukian reached agreement on inauguration attendance
“Zhamanak” writes that a group of deputies and members of Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) took part in the April 9 inauguration of Serzh Sargsyan not voluntarily, but based on an agreement.
“True, BHK leader Gagik Tsarukian did not attend the ceremony: he left for Moscow the previous day to justify his step, but about twenty members of the party were instructed to participate in the inauguration. It is rumored that G. Tsarukian and S. Sargsyan met beforehand and reached an agreement that BHK leader will not participate himself, but will send a group of parliamentary deputies. There are also rumors in political circles that the meeting of Sargsyan and Tsarukian was arranged by Tsarukian’s in-law, National Assembly speaker Hovik Abrahamian”.
