Tense atmosphere reigns in BHK
According to “Zhogovurd”, the situation has been quite tense in Prosperous Armenia party (BHK) in the past two days. The point is that Gurgen Arsenian and Abraham Manukian who are No. 2 and 3 on the list of BHK candidates in the upcoming Yerevan municipal elections were among the participants of the National Assembly’s special session held in connection with Serzh Sargsyan’s inauguration.
The paper notes that many members of BHK are displeased with this circumstance.
“The participation of Arsenian and Manukian was admissible because BHK leader Gagik Tsarukian did not attend the inauguration himself, while members of BHK faction are free to take their decisions. They should have understood that and declined to go there, especially as most members of the faction did not attend the session,” a member of BHK told the paper’s correspondent.
Gurgen Arsenian denied the rumors about tension within the party.
