Prime minister tries to deprive ministries of levers
Acting Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan has decided to deprive the ministries of all levers, leaving only the law drafting function to them, according to “Hraparak”.
“The government is discussing a draft, by which the inspections subordinate to various departments will be merged into a new body adjunct to the government. Evidently, Tigran Sargsyan is trying to concentrate the “tasty” units of all departments in his hands and to shift the weight of corruption risks to the government,” the newspaper notes.
