Police inspectors to work at Yerevan schools
Police inspectors will work at 14 schools of Yerevan. The head of Juvenile Unit of the Criminal Investigation Department, Colonel Arthur Vardanian made this announcement at the meeting with reporters today.
He said that no juvenile crimes are recorded at schools where inspectors work.
In his words, progress has also been made in detection of cybercrimes. “Such cases are rare in Armenia. Sometimes children become the target of cybercrimes. Criminals are revealed and isolated,” A. Vardanian said.
When asked if policemen have accounts on social networking sites, Arthur Vardanian replied that policemen have their accounts, but he found it difficult to say whether they use their own names or fictitious ones.
