Raffi Marashlian’s body had no trace of violence
The autopsy on soldier Raffi Marashlian who died after receiving a bullet wound in still unknown circumstances showed that his body had no trace of violence, Aysor.am was informed by human rights advocate Arman Vezirian.
He said that Helsinki Associations’ military expert Ruben Martirosian will provide more details about the case on Monday.
R. Martirosian said during a talk with reporters that the soldier’s body had no trace of violence, the shot was fired at the jaw from below, and in all likelihood, Marashlian committed suicide.
Let us remind you that the NKR Defense Ministry reported that around 11:40 am yesterday, 19-year-old soldier Raffi Marashlian received a gunshot wound on a frontline position in the northeastern section of the border zone and died on the spot.
