Protesters refuse to meet with prosecutor general

The participants of the protest staged today outside the Office of Armenia’s Prosecutor General refused to meet with the prosecutor general, Aysor.am was informed by Ms. Sona Truzian, spokeswoman for the prosecutor general.

We would remind you that a group of young people demand that the policeman who beat up Heritage Party’s deputy chairman Armen Martirosian on April 9 should be punished. Armen Martirosian was summoned to the Special Investigation Service today to give evidence. “We proposed that protesters meet with the prosecutor general, but they said the protest is being held not against the prosecutor’s office, they have no complaints against us. Ms. Anahit Bakhshian said they will make a decision about their further actions after Armen Martirosian meets with investigators,” Sona Truzian said.
