Zhamanak: Only part of sum allocated by Tsarukian reaches voters
“Zhamanak” daily writes, citing its sources that Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) has already begun compiling its lists for distribution of election bribes in Yerevan. BHK members responsible for districts and blocks visit voters and ask them if they will vote for BHK in the May 5 elections to Yerevan Council of Elders in return for a bribe.
According to the daily, last week one of such executives of BHK went to house 62 on Mamikoniants Street in Arabkir administrative district in order to make a list of potential voters. He said that each voter will receive 5,000 AMD if he/she agrees to vote for BHK.
“By the way, in the past year, during which a third election will be held soon, BHK leader has declared privately that 40,000 AMD should be spent on each voter. In other words, only part of the sum allocated by Gagik Tsarukian reaches the voter,” the daily notes.
