BHK member: Government should pay attention to investment attraction
“Some economic growth was recorded in 2012 in Armenia, even though citizens did not feel it,” the economist, member of Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) Vardan Bostanjian said at a meeting with reporters today.
Commenting on the statement of BHK member Naira Zohrabian to the effect that 7% economic growth in Armenia is a bluff, Bostanjian noted that Armenia’s National Statistical Service publishes real indices and that the progress will become perceptible in the near future.
He assessed positively the reappointment of Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan. In the opinion of Bostanjian, Tigran Sargsyan will be able to perform the tasks set before him.
“The government does not have ample opportunities, but I don’t think that any of the government members will work in the wrong direction. The government should pay attention first of all to investment attraction because this measure will contribute to the country’s economic development,” Bostanjian said.
