Police: Organizers of fireworks to be punished
Administrative proceedings will be instituted against the persons who organized fireworks in several communities of Yerevan on the night of May 5 after the elections to Yerevan Council of Elders, Aysor.am was informed by Ashot Aharonian, the head of the press service of Armenian police.
He earlier wrote on Facebook:
“On the night of May 5, after the elections to Yerevan Council of Elders, fireworks were organized in several communities of the city, disturbing the peace and quiet of residents.
Under Article 180 part 2 of Armenia’ Code of Administrative Offences, administrative responsibility is envisaged for use of pyrotechnic items from 11 pm to 7 am.
Administrative proceedings have already been instituted again three persons.
The police say that the other offenders will also be found and punished”.
