Armavia owes Zvartnots airport $5,536 million
Armavia airline owes Armenia International Airports Company $5,536 million, the company’s Deputy General Manager Andranik Shkhyan told a press conference today.
He reminded those present that the government has already filed a lawsuit against Armavia OJSC, while Zvartnost airport will participate in the litigation as an interested party.
Shkhyan said Armavia airline occupies 18% of the market, mainly flights to Russian destinations.
As regards allegations about Zvartnost Airport’s high prices, Shkhyan said their prices are not high, but “competitive as compared with prices in neighboring countries and in some cases even cheaper”.
It should be noted that Armavia’s planes can still be seen at Zvartnost Airport.
