Expenditures of Agriculture Ministry make 10.23 billion AMD in 2012
The discussions of the report on the implementation of the 2012 state budget of Armenia continued today at the joint sitting of the parliament’s standing committees on financial, credit and budgetary affairs, on agricultural and environmental affairs, and on social affairs, the press service of Armenian parliament said.
Reports were made by Deputy Finance Minister, Chief Treasurer Atom Janjughazian, Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Artyom Asatrian, Minister of Nature Protection Aram Harutyunian, First Deputy Minister of Agriculture Grigor Baghian, and Chairman of the State Water Industry Committee Andranik Andreasian. They presented financial reports on the activities of their respective departments and then answered questions of MPs.
Expenditures of the Agriculture Ministry amounted to 10.23 billion AMD or 96.8% of the programmed index. A number of programs were implemented, thanks to which gross output grew by 9.5% in 2012 as compared with 2011.
Atom Janjughazian said expenditures of Armenia’s State Food Safety Service made 798.7 million AMD or 93.2% of the programmed index.
