Iveta Tonoyan: Avia-Service owes no money to Armavia

The bankrupt Armavia airline has not so far paid out the wages of its staff. Some 30 employees of the airline gathered again outside the office of Mika Ltd today to demand payment of wages owed to them for six months.

Armavia representative told Aysor.am that the airline waits for its debtors to transfer money in order to pay wage arrears. Avia-Service Company was mentioned as one of such debtors.

Spokeswoman for businessman Gagik Tsarukian, Ms. Iveta Tonoyan, said the information is untrue. “Avia-Service owes no money to Armavia,” she told Aysor.am.

Asked what the company intends to do to put an end to such talks, Iveta Tonoyan replied that Director of Avia-Service CJSC Sedrak Arustamian is currently abroad and the further steps will be discussed.

Avia-Service, a company providing catering services to air passengers, makes part of Multi Group.
