Mother of killed freedom fighter hands over son’s arms
As a result of explanatory work done by the staff of the Avan unit of Armenian police, a woman came to the Avan police unit at 5:30 pm on June 14 and handed over 153 cartridges, a cartridge clip, an R-5 grenade, and a starting gun. She told policemen that those arms and ammunition belonged to her son who was killed in action in 1991 in Goris region of Armenia and that she has found the weapons recently when tidying up their garage.
The arms and ammunition were sent for tests.
