Gharibian: Most serious violations recorded in Ararat province

15 families in Mkhchian village of Ararat province received over 70,000 liters of diesel fuel and about as much fertilizers subsidized by the state. 35,000 liters of subsidized diesel fuel was given to one person – Hovhannes Abrahamian, the head of the Financial Control Department of the Ministry of Finance Ms. Sona Gharibian told reporters today.

According to her, no checks were conducted in Mkhchian because all the 15 persons on the list received fuel and fertilizers.
Sona Gharibian did not deny that Hovhannes Abrahamian is a relative of the parliamentary speaker Hovik Abrahamian. She noted that he is a resident of the village and had the right to be the program’s beneficiary.

The Financial Control Department of the RA Finance Ministry conducted checks of fuel and fertilizer distribution in four provinces – Ararat, Gegharkunik, Kotayk and Shirak. The most serious violations were revealed in Ararat province where damage of 83 million AMD was done to the state.
