Armenian president to attend Armenian-Polish business forum
An Armenian-Polish business forum will be held on June 25 during the visit of Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan to Poland. The forum’s organizers are the Armenian Development Agency (ADA) and the Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen (Employers) of Armenia, according to the press service of ADA.
Poland’s Deputy Minister of Economy Tomasz Tomczykiewicz and Armenian Minister of Economy Vahram Avanesian will make speeches at the forum.
Director General of ADA Robert Harutyunian will present the conditions of making an entrance into the Armenian market. The Polish side will inform the forum participants about the export promotion mechanisms in Poland and investment conditions in the Polish market.
The forum will be attended by the presidents of the two countries – Serzh Sargsyan and Bronislaw Komorowski.
Among the forum participants are 19 Armenian companies representing various sectors of the Armenian economy such as agriculture, telecommunications, insurance, tourism, education, construction, and so on.
Bilateral trade between Poland and Armenia made $42.4 million in 2012, with exports and imports amounting to $599.3 thousand and $41.8 million respectively.
