Tigran Sargsyan: It is time to give an account
Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan said at the government session today that it is time to give an account. He reminded those present about the instructions given by Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan at the consultation concerning the ineffective use of state budget resources.
Following the consultation, a lot of work has been done. Respective decisions were taken, while employees of departments underwent retraining. The prime minister instructed Finance Minister David Sargsyan to carry out monitoring and report the situation.
From now on the Financial Control Department of Finance Ministry will immediately inform the public about the checks conducted, while materials will be sent to law enforcement agencies. The government will discuss the monitoring results at a session.
“It is time to give an account. We will be very strict regarding any violation,” the prime minister said.
