Hovik Abrahamian manages to settle relations with president

At the sitting of Republican Party of Armenia’s (HHK) Executive Body on Thursday, Serzh Sargsyan spoke quite well of the candidate for Syunik regional governor Vahe Hakobian, noting that he knows that Hakobian will work well. The next issue was related to the report of the Control Chamber. According to veterans of the Executive Body, Serzh Sargsyan mainly repeated the ideas he expressed during the consultation in the presidential residence, but in a milder tone. As for the behavior of HHK during the discussion of the Control Chamber’s report in the National Assembly, the president did not mention any names.

The circumstance that although the parliamentary speaker Hovik Abrahamian was not allowed to travel to Ukraine, nevertheless, Serzh Sargsyan and Abrahamian are on good terms as before, did not escape the attention of those present. According to sources of ‘Hraparak’ paper, they met before the sitting, discussed the situation and “Hovik Abrahamian managed to settle relations with the president”.
