Police investigate disappearance of Vahe Avetian’s memorial stone
The Armenian police are investigating the circumstances of the disappearance of the memorial stone erected in memory of Vahe Avetian at Harsnakar Restaurant, Aysor.am was informed the press service of the Armenian Police.
“Vahe Avetian” civil initiative earlier issued an official statement about the theft of the temporary memorial stone to Vahe Avetian and asked to consider it as a crime report.
We would remind you that around 11 pm on June 17, 2012, several military doctors were cruelly beaten in Harsnakar Restaurant owned by parliamentary deputy, President of Armenia’s Football Federation Ruben Hayrapetian. One of them, 33-year-old Vahe Avetian died in the hospital on June 29. He was the head of the ENT department of the RA Defense Ministry’s Military Hospital.
A criminal case was opened, with six persons, namely Arman Khachatrian, Norayr Hayrapetian, Garik Margarian, Arman Baghdasarian, David Adamian and Arthur Babloyan being arrested. They were charged with beating Vahe Avetian, Artak Bayadian, Garik Soghomonian, Arkady Aghajanian, and Edgar Nikoyan.
