Source: Drug was found in blood of Suren Khachatrian’s son
According to information of Aysor.am, tests showed that there was a narcotic drug in the former Syunik regional governor Suren Khachatrian’s son - Tigran Khachatrian’s blood.
Ruben Sahakian, Tigran Khachatrian’s lawyer, told the correspondent of Aysor.am that he has not yet received the results of forensic tests.
“The investigator must inform me about the tests’ results within ten days. I didn’t receive any answer,” Sahakian noted.
Asked if he discussed that subject with T. Khachatrian, the lawyer replied there was no necessity to discuss it.
He also refused to say whether there are enough grounds for charging T. Khachatrian. In Sahakian’s words, he would reveal his tactics in this way.
”I will say everything in the court,” he noted.
Let us remind you that Avetik Budaghian, 43, was killed in the June 1 shootut near the house of the then governor of Syunik province Suren Khachatrian in Goris, while his brother Artak Budaghian, 42, and the governor’s bodyguard Nikolai Abrahamian were wounded and hospitalized.
Suren Khachatrian’s son, Tigran Khachatrian, was arrested in the connection with the murder in Goris.
