4 materials of Control Chamber’s report sent to police

The State Interest Protection Department of the RA Prosecutor General’s Office continues to examine the 2012 annual report of Armenia’s Control Chamber.

As of July 10, 2013, as a result of examination, four materials were separated and sent to the Main Investigation Department of the Police.

In particular, the materials of the Control Chamber’s checks regarding implementation of programs by the following state institutions: ‘Center of Educational Programs’ Program Implementation Office, Transport Programs Implementation Office, Water Industry Programs Implementation Office, and Arpa-Sevan Tunnel Reconstruction Program Implementation Office have been sent to the Main Investigation Department of the Police.

We would remind you that the Office of Prosecutor General received the Control Chamber’s report from the National Assembly.

he report contains the conclusions of the Control Chamber, but the materials that provided a basis for conclusions are kept at the Control Chamber. The Prosecutor’s Office asked the Control Chamber to send additional materials providing a basis for assessments and conclusions in the 2012 report of the Control Chamber.
