Armenian embassy keeps in touch with H. Harutyunian’s lawyers
The Armenian embassy in Moscow keeps in touch with the lawyers of Hrachia Harutyunian in order to provide assistance if necessary, the press service of Armenian Foreign Ministry said. According to the Foreign Ministry, Harutyunian is in hospital now.
Foreign Ministry’s spokesman Tigran Balayan told Aysor.am that two lawyers were provided to Hrachia Harutyunian.
Truck driver Hrachia Harutyunian is charged in connection with a crash in Moscow that left 18 people dead. He was sentenced to two month preliminary arrest today. Gross human rights violations were committed as he was brought into the courtroom.
Aysor.am tried to receive comments of the Armenian embassy in Moscow, but the embassy employee advised the correspondent to call a bit later and then the phone was disconnected.
