Spokesman: There is no signature of PM on offshore documents
There are neither signatures of Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan on the documents of Wlispera Holdings Limited Company nor any letters of attorney given by him, the prime minister’s spokesman Harutyun Berberian told Aysor.am.
According to him, an answer to the inquiry to the State Register of Cyprus has been received, but it is not to be made public because of the secrecy of the investigation. The document was sent to the Prosecutor’s Office that forwarded it to the police.
Pastinfo news agency earlier reported that new information about the offshore scandal became available. It was found that the prime minister put an inquiry to the State Register of Cyprian Companies about Wlispera Holdings Limited, through a legal company. The legal company provided interesting information from the State Register. According to its information, at the time of the company’s establishment, Sotirul Mikael was its director, while Romanos Office Services Ltd. functioned as the secretariat of the company. Of the 10,000 shares, 1,000 (one Euro each) were issued. The shares were initially registered by Conmaco Ltd. in the name of Ashot Sukiasian, Samvel Kchoyan, and Tigran Sargsyan. Yet it was found that some time later the shareholders transferred them to a certain E. Sukiasian. The company’s director and secretariat have changed, and Ashot Sukiasian is now both the director and the secretariat of the company.
Information was received from Cyprus that neither Tigran Sargsyan nor Samvel Kchoyan signed any documents kept at the Department of the Register of Cyprian Companies and the Official Office. A least, the documents do not contain their signatures. Moreover, Ashot Sukiasian also signed those documents, according to which he is the director and secretariat since 20 November 2012. He confirmed the fact of transferring the shares registered in the name of the Armenian prime minister to E. Sukiasian.
