Zhoghovurd: What is Armenian health minister doing?
'Zhoghovurd’ writes that Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan who took a vacation to receive treatment didn’t say in what country he underwent a checkup.
“It would be interesting to know what country’s healthcare system enjoys the Armenian prime minister’s confidence. According to our information, Tigran Sargsyan underwent a checkup in a German clinic. Yet his spokesman refuted that information.
The prime minister is not the only high-ranking official and member of the ruling party to be treated abroad. All officials, starting from the president, prefer European clinics where they can receive efficient treatment. Representatives of the middle and poor strata have to ‘suffer’ in Armenia. It is noteworthy that officials in charge of medical care in the country don’t care about this. The main thing is that they have money for treatment abroad and they don’t care a damn about the rest. We wonder what the Health Minister Derenik Dumanian is doing?” the paper writes.
