G. Sahakian: I don’t expect new approach from Raffi Hovannisian

“Neither the authorities nor opposition forces can react because what is at issue is not the creation of new rules of game, but the fact that Raffi Hovannisian is looking for a game partner – which is a primitive step for a political figure. I don’t expect any meaningful discussions and a new approach from Raffi Hovannisian, “the deputy chairman of Republican Party of Armenia Galust Sahakian told ‘Aravot’, when commenting on Heritage Party leader Raffi Hovannisian’s appeal to sit down for discussions at the round table.

In his words, appeals for unification are usually made following discussions of the submitted program. “When a viewpoint or a principle is being discussed, it should be worked out so that people could understand its essence. Raffi Hovannisian’s appeal is not a necessity for the political field. Besides, it is unrealistic,” Sahakian noted.

According to him, neither political forces nor citizens will rally around Raffi Hovannisian in the autumn.
