Moody’s assigns Bа2 rating to Armenia
Moody’s Investors Service has published a report on Armenia, according to which Armenia has improved its rating to stable Bа2 from the last year’s negative one, Armenian Finance Ministry’s press service reported.
This decision was based on the stable revenue collection of Armenia, gradual reduction of GDP deficit and attraction of foreign financial resources, foreign investments and other financial flows on favorable conditions.
Moody’s has also reviewed the national currency of Armenia, assigning it Baa3 rating instead of former Baa1.
