Hraparak: HAK intends to back Heritage candidate in Syunik by-election
It became known yesterday that Armenian National Congress (HAK) Party will back Heritage Party’s candidate Samvel Hayrapetian during the upcoming by-election in electoral district No 38 in Syunik province, ‘Hraparak’ writes.
The paper notes that expect for the Republican Party of Armenia and Heritage Party, no other political force has nominated its candidate in that electoral district.
Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) has been recently dashing around the political field. The daily’s correspondent tried to ascertain whether BHK will support any candidate in electoral district No 38.
BHK spokesman Tigran Urikhanian said in this connection: “We have not yet discussed the issue. When we discuss it, I’ll inform you, with great pleasure”. As regards ARF-Dashnaktsutyun Party, the paper failed to get into touch with ARFD members. Following the information about appointment of ARFD representatives as ambassadors, a ‘boycott’ of mobile phones has been declared.
