Zhoghovurd: Everyone, except Armen Rustamian, signed statement

‘Zhoghovurd’ writes that the head of Armenian National Congress (HAK) parliamentary faction Levon Zurabian recently put forward an initiative to issue a statement – on behalf of the non-coalition forces of the National Assembly - about imprisoned activist Tigran Arakelian. A preliminary agreement was reached that the statement would be signed by L. Zurabian from HAK, Naira Zohrabian from Prosperous Armenia Party, Ruben Hakobian from Heritage Party and Armen Rustamian from ARF-Dashnaktsutyun Party. The statement was signed by all of the mentioned persons, except Armen Rustamian.

The daily was informed that following the agreement, Rustamian disappeared, not answering the phone calls of HAK representative. And a few days later it became known that ARFD Bureau member Vahan Hovhannisian received an offer to become soon an ambassador to a European country. ‘Zhoghovurd’ failed to get comments of Rustamian or any other member of the ARFD: they didn’t answer the phone calls.
