Hraparak: Suren Khachatrian still wants to become deputy
Hraparak’ daily writes that ex-governor of Syunik province Suren Khachatrian who received ‘indulgence’ last Saturday then traveled to the city of Goris in connection with the release of his son and their bodyguard.
“Regional police are said to have guarded so far Suren Khachatrian’s house in Goris,” the paper notes.
According to ‘Hraparak’, Suren Khachatrian is now conducting negotiations with his son’s English teacher, deputy of the Armenian parliament Hayk Grigorian regarding a second stage. “He wants to run for parliament in electoral district #37. Hayk Grigorian will give up his seat in the parliament so that Suren Khachatrian could become a parliamentary deputy,” the paper says.
